BLESSED COAST SOUND is a sound system born on Park Ave in Sonoma CA when Lionize and Ryan- I were born across the street from each other in 1981.
Ryan-I’s mother bought him his first Sizzla Cd for his 15th birthday and there was no looking back from there.
In 2001, Ryan-I left California for Seattle and eventually Bellingham where he linked with Triple Crown from Kalamazoo MI.
The two soon made the Callaloo the home for Blessed Coast reggae music in the Northwest.

While this was taking place Lionize had linked with Jack Riddim ( I Dwell Records) and Selector I-Life to begin making a name for the Blessed Coast in
the Bay Area and Los Angeles. With links in SANTA CRUZ, SAN FRANSISCO, OAKLAND and LOS ANGELES as well as bredren doing works in SEATTLE and BELLINGHAM,
Blessed Coast is quickly making a name for themselves up and down the West Coast as one of the premier reggae sound systems. WE CREATE STRICTLY the highest grade of everything from roots, dub, to brand new culture, dancehall and Hip Hop Mashups. Big Up all Reggae Massive and Crew!
